Coronado Garden

Coronado's Garden

The mission of Coronado's organic garden is to teach students how food is grown, to empower students to make healthier food choices, and to improve students' interest and attitudes towards healthy eating through their experiences growing and sampling fresh fruits and vegetables. The garden was established in fall 2010 through a partnership with Pomona College's Draper Center. The garden continues to be a source of delicious, healthy foods, opportunities for learning about food systems, ecology, biology, and a source of inspiration for photography students.
